An homage to the birth of a child, halluciphile has created the most bizarre gift a father could give their progeny, Love Dad. A mash up of sounds of nostalgia, radio frequencies, and pop culture references provides a somewhat frightening outlook on what a young child will grow up around in this culture and society. A historification of what was and a bleeding of what will be, Love Dad is more than just a detournement of adore and lust - it grabbles deep inside the heart and chokes the fuck out of your throat. An illusion of misplaced sound fragments along side a moment of hysterical peace. Not committing to any norms but sticking to his own set of rules, halluciphile produces a strong 88 minute piece of funk art. Limited to 30 c88 chrome tapes with silver foil.
